By pressing into service modern day intelligent networks from companies like Cisco and advanced operating systems from RedHat, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and others, 29West allows companies to leverage the hardware they already have to meet the messaging challenges of the financial markets. We allow firms to remove every unnecessary software process and hardware device from the path messages take. Furthermore, by removing the need for expensive storage area networks (SANS) or specialized messaging devices to provide low latency, non-stop messaging, we dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of supporting the infrastructures.
