29West Software Evaluation Program
In high-speed messaging systems, performance is affected by many factors, including network topology, the application load on the receiving machines, the loss in the network, buffering parameters in the operating systems ... the list goes on.
Our customers have measured substantial performance gains, both in reduced latency and increased throughput, when they compared how their applications ran with 29West messaging software compared to what they were able to achieve with their existing messaging systems.
Of course, the only performance numbers that really matter to you are what you see in your applications running in your production environment.
If you have applications that could use a higher-performance messaging layer, and wish to proceed with a software evaluation, give us a call.
You will soon be able to measure your own performance improvements, and decide if 29West has the right messaging software for you.
For qualified accounts, we will provide our full software and documentation under the terms of a simple
Non-Disclosure Agreement.
The evaluation process takes the following steps:
- You define the application, test environment and the measurable performance gain you are interested in.
29West provides you a high level overview of the technology and the company. If this looks promising, we execute a
mutual NDA.
- We meet with your team (over the phone or in person), and discuss how best to build a pilot for your applications and environment.
At this time we also provide you a detailed technical presentation and review the contents of the evaluation package.
- Based on the goals of the evaluation, we agree to an evaluation timetable and send you the evaluation kit with documentation, source code for example applications, and the 29West messaging software for your target platform.
- You are provided a dedicated support contact during the evaluation to offer integration assistance and tuning support as well as answer any questions you may have. It typically takes our customers less than 2 staff weeks to create a first pass port of existing, legacy-based, messaging application code to run over
LBM or
UME.
- At the end of the evaluation period, you will have a clear understanding of the performance gains 29West software will provide your application and you can either return the code or move to contract. With over 90% of our 2005 and 2006 evaluation prospects, who purchased any solutions, deciding to move to a Software License Agreement with 29West, it is clear that we have been able to demonstrate a clear competitive advantage.
If you have an application that needs higher-performance than your current solution can deliver, or if you want a performance advantage over your competitors,
contact us.
You may soon find you have more than tripled your throughput capabilities with a dramatic drop in the messaging latency.
