Latency Busters® Messaging

Our Latency Busters® Messaging (LBM) offers application developers the most flexible, most efficient and lowest-latency messaging solution in the industry. With LBM, we can demonstrate over 2,400,000 messages per second between two machines and virtually unlimited scaling using multicast. We can also show one way latency of less than 40 microseconds measured from application to application (rather than a subset of the data path). We deliver these numbers on commodity hardware and standard 1 GB network infrastructure. The numbers only get better as you invest in faster machines or network infrastructure. Ultra Messaging® for the Enterprise

29West's Ultra Messaging® for the Enterprise (UME) introduced our Parallel Persistence® model to the messaging market. This framework delivers data to the persistent store in parallel with data delivery to the end consumer, while still ensuring delivery confirmation and failure recovery. Parallel Persistence® provides less than 50 microseconds of latency for confirmed delivery (sometimes called Guaranteed Messaging) using a fraction of the hardware required with legacy server-based, store-and-forward messaging solutions.

Ultra Messaging® with Queuing

In response to our existing customers' requests to extend our next-generation design across a wider range of their messaging needs, 29West has delivered Ultra Messaging® with Queuing (UMQ). With the release of UMQ, 29West brings features like Once and Only Once delivery, Application Sets and Low-Latency load balancing to the 29West Ultra Messaging family of products. 29West customers can now implement every major use case in financial messaging under a single, highly flexible, powerful API. Because UMQ is built using the same design principles as our popular next-generation streaming (LBM) and persistence (UME) products, UMQ is also the highest-performing low-latency queuing software on the market today.

Ultra Messaging® Desktop Services

Ultra Messaging® Desktop Services (UMDS) extends 29West Messaging to diverse desktop networks unable to connect with the high-speed, multicast messaging backbone. Using a client/server model, UMDS offers slower desktops seamless participation in the enterprise topic space without the use of specialty hardware. This two-tiered architecture also effortlessly filters traffic to only the topics of interest to the desktop networks. Application designers benefit from a simplified API (C, Java or .NET) and minimal configuration. The UMDS Server employs the receiver-based reliability of TCP and offers centralized administration and authentication of desktop applications or users.

Ultra Messaging® Cache

Ultra Messaging® Cache (UMCache) is a framework providing mechanisms for archival, retrieval, replay and management of diverse message streams. UMCache can be adapted to a single message format, multiple messaging systems, back end storage devices, differing message processing methods, etc. This level of flexibility provides an enormous benefit for systems that have archival and replay/retrieval needs that span many vendors and/or legacy systems.
